Jenna Lewis, O.D.

Dr. Lewis joined Dr. Jurcak as a partner in 2015, following the integration of her Beachwood practice into the Chagrin Valley Optometrists location. She earned her undergraduate degree from John Carroll University and completed her optometry training at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago.
Dr. Lewis is fully committed to lifetime whole eye health and preventative care. Her specialty interest is geared toward the pediatric population with an emphasis on myopia control. However, she remains dedicated to comprehensive primary eye care. Her expertise extends to contact lens management and the diagnosis and treatment of ocular diseases.

Residing in Novelty with her husband and two children, Dr. Lewis is also accompanied by their beloved office dogs, Zelda and Link. She stays active through her long-term membership with Orangetheory Fitness and enjoys traveling with her family to broaden her children’s horizons. In her spare time, Dr. Lewis finds joy in reading, spending time with friends and family, and caring for her saltwater reef tank.
Ronald Jurcak, O.D.

As an eye doctor and owner of Chagrin Valley Optometrists since 1988, Dr. Jurcak has treated thousands of patients in the Chagrin Valley area. He combines experience with thoroughness and personalized care in every patient encounter. He enjoys providing full–scale comprehensive eye examinations to adults and children alike including the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease and contact lens management.
Karen Malaski, O.D.

Dr. Malaski is an Illinois College of Optometry graduate and lifelong Cleveland resident. She has been practicing optometry since 2004, with most of it being on the east side suburbs. She believes compassion, attention to detail, and patient education are the key factors of a comprehensive eye examination. She practices primary care with a special focus on contact lenses and the presbyopic exam.
After leaving the area for a short time, Dr. Malaski is excited to reconnect with long-time patients (who still pretend they know the difference between “one” and “two) and build a new patient base as well!

When she is not explaining to patients that their retinal scans are basically ocular disease detecting selfies, you can find her in her kitchen battling flour storms and convincing her cookie dough to “chill.” A lover of espresso, her life is not complete without at least 2 shots per day. An optometrist by day but HGTV star by night, she believes she is one throw pillow away from decorative bliss! On the weekends, she is a Metroparks enthusiast and a true believer in good lighting and the magic of a 5 pm dinner reservation with friends!

Not every set of roommates survives optometry school, but Dr. Lewis and Dr. Malaski came out not only with their degrees but also with a lifelong friendship (and some stories they may or may not ever share with patients).
Their friendship was built on late-night study sessions, battling over refrigerator space, and getting up for early morning clinic hours. They now team up to deliver the kind of eye care that makes patients feel right at home. Their secret? A mix of clinical expertise, genuine care, and just enough humor to make an eye exam a little less intimidating.
Whether they’re debating the merits of bifocals on a Friday night or high-fiving after a tricky diagnosis, one thing is for sure: they take your eyes seriously. Their mission is top-notch care and helping you see the world as clearly as they see their next coffee run.

Autumn Juker
Contact Lens Specialist
Autumn became a valued member of our team in 2019, following her graduation from Kent State University with a B.A. in English. In her current role, she oversees the contact lens department, ensuring a seamless experience for patients after their consultations with the doctor. Additionally, Autumn supports Dr. Lewis in coordinating the myopia control program, focusing on the care of younger patients.

Meet our delightful office greeters, Zelda and Link!
Zelda is a spirited Boston Terrier/French Bulldog mix with boundless energy and a sunny disposition. She adores basking in the sunlight and sharing her sweet kisses with everyone she meets. Zelda is always eager to welcome our patients with her joyful enthusiasm and a wiggling bottom.

Link, our laid-back French Bulldog, brings a touch of relaxation to the office. He enjoys nothing more than a good head pat, chasing his ball, and watching the world go by from his favorite window spot. While Link can be a bit gassy at times, his gentle nature and lovable quirks make him a cherished member of our team.
Together, Zelda and Link are here to brighten your day, offer a friendly sniff, and, of course, keep a keen eye out for any treats you might have. They are on duty to greet you and inspect for snacks every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.
